Country Sausage Surprise [RECIPE][PICTURES]
Country sausage is always something that I have sliced and cooked in a skillet with potatoes and onions or threw on the grill and into a bun, now I have wrapped it all up.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 lb country sausage, 1 package of biscuits, 4 pieces of cheddar cheese(cut in half), about a cup of cooked cabbage with a couple of slices of bacon and a quarter of an onion then cooled.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
I cut the sausages into 2″ pieces and browned then in a skillet with a pad of butter (don’t really think that the butter was necessary, but hey, I like butter) then I set them aside to cool. Using a little flour to dust the counter top I rolled out each biscuit to the size of a saucer, then added a spoonful of the cooked cabbage, split the sausage and put a piece of cheese in the center and placed it atop the cabbage, then I wrapped it all up, pulling the ends together and placing “seam” side down on a greased cooking sheet and baked till they were golden brown.
****I made a quick and easy homemade mac and cheese to serve along side these little surprises. Enjoy! (oh, here are some pictures to give you a little visual)
