College Student Goes On Tuesday Texas Stabbing Rampage Injuring 14

In the midst of all this gun control controversy comes something new.  A mass stabber!  That's right, no guns involved, only a knife? Was this to make a point? I believe it was.

A 21 year old student at Lone Star College's CyFair campus in Cypress, Texas stabbed at least 14 people in a mass stabbing this morning according to authorities.  No one was killed in the altercation but a handful were sent to hospitals with serious injuries including stabs to the neck and cheeks on many victims.

Let's ban all knives!

A witness at the scene today described the weapon as an X-Acto knife found in any hobby or home improvement store.  The sadness of this entire story is that it is not the tool that should be blamed, it's the person.  I honestly believe this kid was trying to make that point as bizarre as that may sound otherwise, why a knife?

This tragic incident in Texas today should be a real eye-opener for Washington D.C. politics.  Guns don't kill people, people do.  Knives don't kill people, people do. Spoons don't make people fat, cars don't drive themselves off the road and, well, you get the point.

This story proves that if some whacked out psycho wants to inflict harm, they will.  There isn't a law in the world that will change that.  Deal with the problem and stop avoiding the real issues Washington.  Time to bring out some commons sense before we have to outlaw Home Depot and Hobby Lobby.
