Riding a bike anywhere can be a tad daunting, but especially in Fort Collins. Keep yourself and kids prepared with a skills class on November 8.

If you or your kids ride a bike on a daily basis, having some traffic skills is not a bad thing, especially for the young adults. The City of Fort Collins has you covered with a skills class on Saturday, November 8 that is free by pre-registering.

The course is for new and seasoned cyclists alike that will give you the confidence to ride safely and legally on the streets or on the trail. You will learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques.

The 7 1/2 hour course is recommended for adults and kids 14 or older. You will need to show up with a bike (helmets are required) and prepared to ride. You may also want to load your liquids as well.

Snacks, lunch and course materials are included in the class but again, you MUST pre-register. Just click on the link below to sign up and happy/safe biking.
