George Strait kicked off his Strait to Vegas concert series over the weekend with two shows. King George performed for over two hours, in front of a record-setting crowd. Strait told the crowd "I've missed you guys, and I'm looking forward to being here a few more nights this year." George still has four shows scheduled at the TMobile Arena in September and December as well as two concerts in February of 2017.

Saturday night at a show in Berkeley, CA Chris Stapleton paid tribute to Prince by performing "Nothing Compares 2 U." It's every bit of Stapleton as you would want. His stage was covered in purple light with Chris saying, “Hell I’m gonna try this…I don’t know if I can actually do it…but we’re gonna do it for a great musician we lost…”
