Charley Barnes Does Movie Voice Over [VIDEO]

I have done a lot of really cool stuff in my 30+ years in radio including an actual, real, movie trailer that ran Nationally in 2009 but this one is in my top 5 for sure. This is a 'marriage proposal' done by a company on the East coast that I do various "voice over' work for. Everyone in this movie trailer is a friend of a friend and no one was the wiser.

Andrew Manzano who runs The Sound Tank approached me to do some work pro-bono for a friend of his who was getting married.  To be honest, I thought it was going to be this hokey piece and wasn't sure but he is a good friend so I agreed to do the VO for him.

As it turned out, it blew me away and almost 618,o00 others as well to date.

We did this in 2010 and I had forgotten about it till today when it came up so I thought I would share this with all of you.  Keep in mind that no one in the movie theater had any idea what was going on and when you watch this clip you too will think you were just watching a trailer for a new movie coming out...until the end.
