Train Horns Could Be Silenced in Fort Collins Soon

If you aren't a fan of train horns permeating the air throughout Fort Collins, your wish may be granted soon. According to the Coloradoan, on Monday officials from the city made a presentation to the Federal Railroad Administration in hopes to petition a rule that requires crossing gates at intersections inside a quiet zone which would be designated for train horns.

According to the Coloradoan, the driver who allegedly hit a 16-year-old pedestrian and then fled the scene has turned himself in, Fort Collins police confirm.
