I will never forget what that day was like 9 years ago today and neither will anyone else who was around Windsor and all of Northern Colorado that day. It was on this date, May 22, 2008 that a huge tornado ripped through our town of Windsor.
There are two days in Windsor's history that will always stand out to me. One is coming up on Monday when we mark the 9th anniversary of the tornado roaring through our town and the other happened two years ago today.
Northern Colorado has got a bad case of Kelly Cup fever. Our Colorado Eagles have been on fire and have given us one of the most exciting hockey seasons we have ever experienced and we are not ready for it to end any time soon.
