I am getting ready to go on a break and use up some vacation over the holidays. I am getting ready to take some time off and enjoy the holidays. I can't wait. I love the sights and sounds of the season especially the sounds. I get lifted by music and Christmas songs always seem to have that effect on me. I love it. Feeling joyous and thankful is a wonderful feeling and there are a few songs that stand out for me each year.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a die hard, purple bleeding, life long Minnesota Viking fan. I love the Broncos too. They are in my heart but the Vikings are in my blood. If the Broncos lose, I will have a bad day. If the Vikings lose, I will have a bad week. In my 53 years on this earth, they have caused me a lot of bad weeks.

One of the things I am most looking forward to in the future is waking up next to my wife. I have woke up alone for over 30 years and look forward to little companionship right away each day. I have dogs but they aren't in a big hurry to get out of bed and see me off.
