What a beautiful little Texas town, but such an enormous tragedy that happened. This weekend on my way back to Dallas from San Antonio, I stopped by the town of West, Texas to pay my respects -- and, I guess, to satisfy that curiosity bug I had about what everything looks like.

Another week and six (6) more soldiers who has paid the ultimate price since last Monday’s post. These warriors have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Please remember, “Freedom” isn't free at all; someone has to pay for it. Please make it a point this week to go out of your way and thank a soldier. It’s a good habit to get into!

I had written a few weeks back about the death of our dear friend Bob Todd. Bob was a very talented artist and creative man. He worked with the Stampede for years and was very involved and loved in our community.

Sometimes Todd's wife Jenny doesn't like to carry a purse, so she carriers her her essentials in her bra. Todd calls it her "Burse". It could have just about anything in it.

There was a party in the Summerhill Townhomes just off Prospect Road in Fort Collins on Saturday. Police used tear gas to disperse the crowd of over 300. We have a few photos.
