Broncos Country Has Russell-Mania And Is Going Crazy For Wilson

Russell-Mania has officially hit Broncos Country. On Tuesday, the Broncos pulled the trigger on one of the biggest trades in team history by acquiring Super Bowl champion quarterback from the Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson in a trade that saw them give up several draft pics along with Drew Lock, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris.

Now, before we go any further, here's a fun fact about Russell Wilson that a lot of people don't know about, he was a phenomenal baseball player that is no stranger to our baseball team here in Colorado...

While he may pop out to Coors Field to throw a first pitch as he did many times back in Seattle for the Mariners, Broncos Country will be seeing Russell Wilson in orange and blue as they seem to have forgiven Wilson, who along with the Legion of Boom and company destroyed the Broncos in Super Bowl 48.

Now, the 32 year old quarterback has a chance to win one back for the organization to he took one from and the excitement in Broncos Country is at a fever pace. Billboards were already in place down in Denver within a few hours of the announcement that Wilson was heading to the Mile High City.

Broncos Country has been starving for a return to relevance since winning Super Bowl 50 and the departure of Peyton Manning. Fans have had to endure quarterback play from the likes of Trevor Siemian, Paxton Lynch, Brock Osweiler, Case Keenum, Joe Flacco, Brandon Allen, Jeff Driskel and Brett Rypien along with the two most recent Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. So yeah...I get it Broncos Country...you have reason to celebrate and there's no shortage of that going around social media.

Now...this isn't really Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara but it's still pretty funny...
