Body of Estes Park Avalanche Victim Found
Rescue workers found the body of a missing Estes Park man yesterday who officials believe died in an avalanche in Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday. David Laurienti’s body was found in the Upper Fay Lakes drainage on the north slope of Ypsilon Mountain. A search began for Laurienti and Lisa Foster began on Sunday after the two Estes Park residents were reported overdue from a climb. Foster, who was injured, was evacuated by toboggan early Tuesday.
