Norwegian Fjord Horses Facebook

Eight horses from Berthoud will be in the 125th Rose Parade live in Pasadena, California on January 1st.  For the first time ever, the Norwegian Fjord horse breed will be part of the New Year's Day event -this year themed "Dreams Come True."

The horses will pull carriages in the parade but are also wonderful riding companions with sweet demeanors.    

Parade start time is 9am MST.Approximately 57 million people will view it on television.

The Norwegian Fjord Horse is one of the world’s oldest and purest breeds. They were first domesticated and used by the Vikings.  They’re are small but athletic and versatile.
