American Military Family Hoping To See Hundreds Of Motorcycles For This Saturday’s Poker Run
Some friends of mine, Dan and Michelle Benavidez, (American Military Family) lost their son, Staff Sgt. Kenneth Mayne in 2008. Today, his memory lives on every year with the "Memory Mayne" poker run and it's going on this Saturday.
Staff Sgt. Kenneth Mayne, a 4th Infantry Division soldier was killed in 2008 during a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This poker run not only honors him, but every other son and daughter who has been Killed In Action but just as important, the event raises money for all veterans who return home but need help readjusting.
The poker run is this Saturday and has both North and South registration points.
The South route starts in Denver at Rocky Mountain Harley Davidson (2885 W. County Line Road-Littleton) with stops in:
- Wheat Ridge
- Ends at Jerry D's in Dacono.
The North route starts in Greeley at Wild West Motorsports (3010 W. 29th) with stops in:
- Ends at Jerry D's
Registration is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at both locations. Cost is $20 single and $30 double. For more information or to pre-register visit the AMF website (Click Here) and let's show up and support a great event. This will not be the usual pick out a card at each stop, but, will have some fun and creative activities at each stop along the run.
