Friday morning was busy in Loveland and the news continues to develop after the SWAT were called out in the early workday hours.

As we know with the earlier reports this morning, just before 8 a.m. Friday morning the Loveland SWAT team was called out to a situation near North Taft Avenue and West 29 Street.

The Coloradoan reported that an armed suspect was taken into custody about an hour later.

As of noon Friday however we have not heard any updates on the story, so far no further details have been released. We have not learned the identity of the suspect, what kind of weapon was possessed or any other details.

Many folks heading to work were sidelined because the roadway near and around the incident at North Taft Avenue and West 29 Street was shut down.
