You never know what is lurking out there at night. My family was on an adventure the other night when they were dive bombed by a huge owl. I have seen the damage a deer can do to a vehicle but owl damage was a new one to me. I have always found owls kind of creepy and cool at the same time. I thought they just sat in trees, stared at you to make you uncomfortable and count how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

They were driving late at night when suddenly an owl blasted into the windshield and woke them up more than a case of Red Bull. My grandson Zander says they hit a dinosaur. I believe it was a pterodact OWL. Every one is fine except the windshield and I am pretty sure the wise ol owl did not make it unless he was wearing a helmet. Be careful out there. We have lots of critters running and flying around out there. Use caution if you are hitting the road and be safe this summer.
