9 News Interviews Charley Barnes on His Upcoming Endurance Ride [VIDEO]

I had the pleasure of being interviewed on Wednesday, February 18 by 9 News. The interview, which can be seen here, was about my upcoming Honor Flight Northern Colorado Endurance Ride.

$50,000 is a ton of money to raise by one man, woman, child or beast, but together, you and I can achieve this goal and beyond. Let's face it, if we all pull together, we could feasibly fill an entire plane with this one fundraiser if we really wanted to; but you have to want to.

I am eternally grateful for all the "shares" and "likes" that many of my friends and listeners of the radio station have given the ride page and the story, but that doesn't pay the expenses to send our veterans to Washington D.C. That money has to come from somewhere and that somewhere is our pockets.

To answer a big question, you can pay for the miles you sponsor anytime between now and June. I just want you to commit to some miles now, today, and then pay for them when you can. For example, I sponsored the first 100 miles back on January 1, but I won't pay for them until my tax return comes in, but those miles are now in and accounted for. It's only a $1 per mile, so please consider sponsoring some miles. It's hard to ask someone on your Facebook page to do something when you are not willing to do it yourself.

• Send a check for your miles sponsored: $1 per mile. Make it payable to CFSGWC c/o Honor Flight and put HF Endurance Ride in the memo line. Please mail to Charley Barnes, 5206 W 27th St., Greeley, CO 80634.
• If you would like to donate online, just click here. Make sure to select "Honor Flight" and mention it's for the "Endurance Ride." It's also imperative that you let me know via my contact info below, so I will know how many miles to log.
• Email me at BikerDude80634@yahoo.com or Charley@k99.com and let me know how many miles you would like to sponsor, who you are, where you live, and if the miles you are sponsoring are on behalf of a veteran or just because. More information is better than no information.
• Call me at 800-500-2599 and talk to me personally
• Go to the Honor Flight Northern Colorado Endurance Ride page on Facebook by clicking here. Once there, like the page and then post your information (detailed above) or send an email from that page on how many miles you want to sponsor etc.

100% of the money donated goes directly to Honor Flight Northern Colorado which is a 501c3 charity so the miles you sponsor are tax deductible. The expense to do the actual ride is being provided by Rod and Karen Steely from Colorado Crude Carriers.
