Any baseball fan can list some milestones from the game. I remember Hank Aaron's record breaking home run. I remember Cal Ripkin Jr breaking the "iron man" record and the Rockies amazing winning streak to get into the playoffs.

Baseball's history is full of great moments but to many the greatest moment was the so called "shot heard round the world" back in 1951 when Bobby Thompson hit a 3 run homer off Ralph Branca of the Dodgers and won the pennant for the Giants. I would have to say for me though it was the night Ripkin broke that "iron man" record. It make my whole body get goosebumps hearing that crowd roar. It was 21 years ago today that magic moment happened. This is one of those records that we will never see broken in our lifetime. Here are a few of those amazing moments in baseball as another season winds down.

Here is Cal's big moment.

Hank Aaron hits #715.

The big night for the Rockies.
