The World Champion Denver Broncos will be at the White House today to meet President Obama, but a few players won't be there.

Almost all of the Super Bowl 50 team will be in attendance, but not Brock Osweiler and Evan Mathis, despite being invited.

Osweiler told 9News in Denver:

The Broncos graciously extended an invitation for me to join them at the White House on Monday, but due to a scheduled OTA in Houston, I feel it is important to be at practice with my new teammates. It’s a new offensive system for me and every practice and rep is extremely important. I am very appreciative of the Broncos wanting to include me on this special day.

Mathis says he has mandatory mini-camp as well as physicals today. Aqib Talib will also not attend after being shot in the leg in Dallas over the weekend.

The last time the Broncos went to the White House was in 1998 after Super Bowl XXXII.
