It is beautiful outside in Northern Colorado right now. Man, this weather is refreshing and what we needed.

I know my dog Lucy has been loving it. On Sunday, we went on a big and long walk at Twin Silo Park in Fort Collins. Lucy was just a puppy during the summer and she is now learning that sunbathing is her favorite hobby. I am also seeing a ton of people exercising outdoors.

We all know that spring does not begin until late March in Northern Colorado. Are we having a false spring? Absolutely. Are we going to enjoy it while it lasts? Of course. Here is how long we are going to have nice weather.

'Fake Spring' in Northern Colorado: What to Expect

According to the National Weather Service, the fake spring is going to last for a while. The forecast calls for temperatures to be sunny and in the mid-60s for most of this week.

The highest temperature will be on Tuesday, February 25 at 68 degrees. Wednesday will be a little bit cooler, the high will be near 50 degrees. After a slightly cooler day, Northern Colorado will be back to being in the 60's.

There will be periods of clouds, but it looks like there will not be any rain.

Looking Even Further into the Future in Northern Colorado

A current 10-day forecast predicts that the beginning of March will be a slightly different story. Experts predict that the temperature will drop to the high 40s with chances of rain until March 10th.

So if you hate snow, we have great news. Snow is not coming to Northern Colorado anytime soon.
