If you own a motorcycle and want to ride in the official escort for the Vietnam Travelling Memorial Wall then Wednesday the 22nd is your day.  I have also included a map of the route for those of you who want to see it come by.

If you would like to be a part of the official escort into Fort Collins then please take note that 'The Vietnam Travelling Wall' will be leaving Berthoud at 3:30 PM Wednesday, May 22nd from I-25 and Highway 56. (West side of I-25)

If you would like to ride down with me be in Windsor at the K99 Studio's and we will leave at 2:30 PM and make one stop at the Hwy 402 Park-N-Ride to pick up anyone there.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Fort Collins Police Services, Loveland Police Department and Berthoud Police Department will be joining the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association to escort the traveling Vietnam Wall memorial through Larimer County for display at the Veterans Plaza in Spring Canyon Community Park (2626 West Horsetooth) in Fort Collins.

The Travelling Wall will be on display Wednesday May 22nd through Monday May 27th with the main ceremony planned for Saturday May 25th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

The 'Travelling Wall' is a 3/5 scale of the actual Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. and includes the names of 623 Veterans from Colorado, including 13 from Fort Collins, 6 from Loveland, 2 from Berthoud and 1 from Wellington. The wall stands six feet tall at the center and covers almost 300 feet from end to end and  stands as a reminder of the ultimate sacrifices made during the Vietnam War.
