Bounce Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization that focuses on rescuing and transitioning domestic animals into their ideal homes. They are a 100% foster-based organization with no physical location. They are primarily located in Northern Colorado, but do span the entire state of Colorado.

They work with a heavy emphasis on quality veterinarian care, nutrition, spay/neuter programs, education/classes and compatible adoptions.

Colorado loves their pets (we are a huge dog state, go us!). Bounce Animal Rescue rescues animals from in- and out-of-state shelters, hoarding cases, owner surrenders and many other at-risk situations.

During my interview with Anneliese Clark, executive director, she said that "adoptions never seem to be an issue within Colorado; however there is a heavy need for resources in terms of getting people back on their feet, or offering spay/neuter programs, or helping our surrounding states when it comes to overpopulation. So we take in a lot of out-of-state rescues."

Animals are not limited to dogs or cats. Anneliese said, "We do essentially anything our foster homes sign up to be. So if a foster home says, 'Hey, I'll take in a goat', we'll absolutely take in a goat as well too."

Weekly adoptions events are done at Pets Supplies Plus in Fort Collins from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. People can visit their website at https://bounceanimalrescue.org to learn how they can foster a pet or donate.
