I have spent the weekend trying to get some rest and trying to figure out the right words to say thank you for your amazing support of the 28 Hours of Hope. There is nothing I can say that will come close to being enough but I will try.

I thank all the kind and big hearted artists who gave their time and talent and voice to the cause. I was blown away by the interviews and the fact that these stars would take the time to be on our little station here in Northern Colorado. I thank the incredible organizations and their giving and loving staff who were here to answer phones, support us and for the work they do for our children. They truly are angels. Thank you to my coworkers who gave us support and took the cause to heart. Thank you Sparx and Alana for embracing your first 28 Hours of Hope and diving in to do everything you could to help. Thank you to our partners in the business community like our friends from the Elks, Banner Health, Martin Lind and his posse of kind hearted givers and all the other members of our business family who supported us. Thank you to all the kind friends who stopped by to donate and hug us or just wave through the window. That meant a lot to us. Thank you to my daughter Vanessa who stopped in the middle of the night to bring us emergency pie. Thank you to all of those who have faced this monster of child abuse, stood tall in it's face and told your stories. That is the most powerful aspect of the whole event. I applaud your strength and courage. Thank you to the kids of Wellington and the Greeley West Girls Soccer Team for once again showing us the world is going to be in great hands with our next generation. You are all amazing. Thank you to each and every one of you who gave of your money, time, prayers and hearts or just made a pledge to never let this happen on your watch. We all have the power to change the world and need to realize it and take action. A huge thank you to my crew who never left my side like Susan, Justin, Jill, Chris, Madi, Jordan, Maury and Nikki to name a few. You have no idea how much that meant to me, and of course Todd Harding for all the hours he put in putting the whole thing together. I would be lost without him.

This year we raised over $120,000 for our charities and I couldn't be more proud of the power of the 28 Hours of Hope and the love of this place we call home. This is the greatest place on the planet to live. God bless the child.
