Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry Killed in Helicopter Accident

We have sad news to report today as it has been confirmed from Montgomery Gentry's record label, Average Joe's Entertainment, that Troy Gentry of country music duo has died in a helicopter crash.

The crash took place at around 1 p.m. on September 8th in Medford, New Jersey. The details of the crash are unknown at this time. Montgomery Gentry were set to perform this evening at the Flying W Airport and Resort in Medford.

The duo would have been at the Grizzly Rose in Denver on September 23rd for a show. We will keep you updated with information on that as it becomes available.

The last time Montgomery Gentry played in Colorado was at the Grizzly Rose on September 11th 2015:

Shortly before that they played at Bands in the Backyard in Pueblo on June 20th, 2015.
A little more than five years have passed since the duo played at the Greeley Stampede.
