Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks’ New Puppy Is Too Cute for Words
If you're trying to remain grumpy all day today, you won't want to spend time looking at Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's new dog, Millie.
Actually the recent adoptee is just one of a few reasons Yearwood may make you smile. Pictures of the dog in her arms, running free across a meadow and slumbered up near Emmy, the couple's other dog, will brighten your day, but if you're an animal lover, so will Yearwood's message.
"In the spirit of #GivingTuesday let’s bring awareness to the importance of #petadoption & #animalrescue," the singer writes on Instagram. "Millie was the ONLY dog adopted Saturday from #MauryCountyAnimalServices. You can save a life, have a new best friend and give a homeless pet a forever home at the same time. Who knows, you might even adopt one of Millie’s siblings!"
The pics are a rare glimpse at domestic life inside the Brooks household, although they frequently talk about life together. Musically Yearwood is preparing an album of Frank Sinatra covers called Let's Be Frank. It's available at Williams-Sonoma stores starting in December and everywhere else in February 2019.
Brooks will be on TV this Sunday (Dec. 2), but don't look for the new dog during his Notre Dame concert special on CBS. The show was filmed in October and won't include a new song he says is perfect for his relationship with Yearwood. "Stronger Than Me" had its world premiere at the CMA Awards in November.
