Town of Windsor Installs Snow Cones on Traffic Lights

The Town of Windsor has installed a total of 18 snow proof lenses that are cone-shaped on north-facing traffic lights last week.

The cones are being used to prevent snow and ice from covering the traffic light in the event of a snowstorm. These cones will aid in the prevention of blockage of visibility of the traffic lights in the hope of reducing accidents during a snow storm.
