Today is the 80th Anniversary of the Birth of Elvis – Brian’s Blog [VIDEO]

Elvis has always been my hero. I spent every nickel I had when I was a kid on Elvis records. I used to put on shows in my backyard. I would invite all the neighborhood over to our backyard and I would stand on a picnic table and sing Elvis songs to tens of people. Elvis was the inspiration for everything I wanted to be. He influenced the way we rock and the way we roll like no human has ever done.

Today would have been his 80th birthday. I always celebrate Elvis Day by watching his movies or concert films. Today I think I will pick the '68 comeback special where he was all decked out in black leather. The dude was and still is the coolest ever. Happy Birthday Elvis. You are still the king!
