These Northern Colorado Towns Have Official Sister Cities
Have you ever heard of the term sister city? This is a term that some cities and towns across the world use to promote human contact and cultural links from one town to another, typically in another country.
According to Sister Cities International, these partnerships are formed after the highest elected officials from both communities sign off on an agreement to become cities. Any one city can have numerous sister cities too. All of these sister cities are independent and pursue activities that are important to each of their communities. This could include business, trade, education, and cultural exchanges.
