The View of the Lunar Eclipse From My Perspective [PICTURES]- Brian’s Blog

Last night was Big Moon Night or as some called it the lunar eclipse. We had heard it was going to be epic so we prepared and got everything we would need. We picked out a spot with a clear view in the backyard. We gathered our supplies. We had cameras, beverages, Moon Pies...Wait! Where were the Moon Pies? We could not find any.

My wife left the house on a mission to find Moon Pies. She went to seven different stores before finally scoring a few boxes. You cannot watch a moon event without Moon Pies.

We applied the pies and waited. The sky was gorgeous. It really was cool to see. I couldn't help but think it looked familiar though. Then it hit me. I had seen this when my wife went into labor. It looked like the moon was about 3 cm from being completely dilated and ready to give birth. I am sure you saw some amazing sights and have seen some great pictures from last night. I will check them all out when I finished eating my pie goggles.
