Country music has had it's share of funny guys. You could put the whole cast of Hee Haw in that category along with some greats like Jeff Foxworthy, Rodney Carrington, Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and many others. I would say many though, consider Ray Stevens the king of country comedy. Today is Mr. Stevens birthday and he is still making us laugh with his own unique style.

Ray Stevens first made a name for himself in the 70's with serious songs like "Everything Is Beautiful" and "Misty" but is better known for being a nut. He has recorded some of America's most popular comedy recordings of all time. Ray hit the big time when he recorded "The Streak". Everyone knew that song and Ray was everywhere.
