Have you been wondering what Loveland and Fort Collins will be doing for the 4th of July? They're teaming up with Larimer County to be at The Ranch.

The City of Loveland announced on June 15, 2020, that the annual 4th of July festivities will not be at North Lake Park, nor will there won't be concessions— but there will be fireworks.

Loveland, Fort Collins, and Larimer County have teamed up and agreed that The Ranch is centrally located enough to provided fireworks entertainment for the NoCo region at large.

For people to attend the show, it'll be like another one of the Drive-In scenarios that are becoming so popular. Folks will be asked to stay in or near their vehicles unless visiting the provided restrooms.

Gates at the south entrance to The Ranch will open at 7:30 p.m. for the free event, with the fireworks show starting at 9:15 p.m. and running for twenty minutes. The gates will close at 10 p.m. Patriotic music will also be a part of the evening.

The event organizers are working with surrounding partners to help provide more parking that night.

Again, there won't be any food concessions, and with the gates opening at 7:30 p.m, there won't be any 'day' events going on.

But all the same, it's great that there will be 4th of July fireworks after all. 2021 will hopefully bring the celebrations back to their normal venues.
