The Henningsens Release ‘American Beautiful’ Video

Earlier this week, the family trio The Henningsens released the music video for their record-setting song, 'American Beatiful.' Featuring shots of the family and their friends in their favorite places, this video is so genuine that you're guaranteed to love it.

The three-and-a-half minute clip was directed by Darrin Dickerson and produced by David B. Stevens for Ghostwater Films. Thanks to the countryside imagery and shots of the band with their family, it's a true reflection of what growing up was like for The Henningsens.

“We played in barns growing up, actually played music in barns. Mom and Dad used to make a concert hall, I guess you could call it, out of my aunt and uncle’s barn," lead singer Claire Henningsen said (according to Country Music Is Love.) "Folks from our home area in Central Illinois would come into the hayloft and we’d play concerts. In our video, we have a similar setting. But it’s a barn in Tennessee not Illinois.”

The music video captures some of the best parts of living in America. The band is rocking out in a gorgeous field in front of a huge, old tree. The Henningsen family and their friends are enjoying a big picnic, where couples are hugging and kids are playing. And, of course, everyone ends up dancing together in a barn while the band performs in front of an American flag. Does it get any better than that?

The Henningsens certainly don't think so.

“A lot of our friends and family actually are in the video. All of the imagery in the video reflects our life growing up," Aaron Henningsen said.

It's been 10 weeks since the family trio released 'American Beautiful,' and the song has already climbed to No. 23 on the country chart. The tune broke numerous records when it received 77 combined Country Aircheck and Billboard radio adds, giving them the most first-week adds of any debut single in Country Aircheck history. Those numbers also gave the trio the highest impact-week add total for a group since 1999.

The Henningsens will release their debut album, also called 'American Beautiful,' this summer.
