The First Pepper From the Garden Harvest IS…

One of my peppers finally turned ripe enough to pluck off of the plant! After months of waiting I finally have a pepper pod. The pepper is one of the world's hottest, if not the hottest! This pepper is a Carolina Reaper and I am excited to give this one away!

This pod is going to a co-worker who loves spicy stuff. I am planning on doing some hot sauces and chili powder later this year and I will need the other peppers to ripen before I can make anything and I didn't want this one to go to waste. She will get to enjoy the pain of this little bundle of spicy!
