The greatest of all time has officially called it quits. While some may argue that he isn't the greatest of all time, I beg to differ.

I'm almost positive that we're never going to see another NFL player, especially a quarterback, play for 22 years - 20 of them with the same team - win seven Super Bowls in 10 appearances, win countless MVP awards, Pro Bowls, the list goes on.

Basically any kind of award or accolade, he's won and more than likely a couple of multiple times.

Here's his official retirement statement:

So yeah, when I say he's the greatest of all time, that's what I'm sticking with and I'll gladly argue that with anyone. However, as great as "The G.O.A.T." was, the Denver Broncos did something to Tom Brady that no other team can say they did.

And that's beat him and knock his teams out of the playoffs three times.

The Broncos, led by Jake Plummer beat Brady's Patriots in the Divisional Round of the playoffs in January of 2006 and then again two other times in AFC title games in January 2014 and January 2016.

There were only a few teams that Tom Brady didn't have a winning record against and one of those teams just happened to be the Denver Broncos. The Saints and the Seahawks were also both .500 against Brady.

The Saints were 4-4 and the Seahawks were 2-2. The New York Giants were the only team to have a winning record against Brady with a 3-2 record. Two of those wins came in Super Bowls.

Tom Brady went 9-9 against Denver and he was only 1-3 in the postseason, the first of the three losses that the Broncos handed Brady was in the Divisional Round of the playoffs in January 2006.

The other two losses at Empower Field for Tom Brady occurred in AFC Championship Games. The first of two in January 2014. The Broncos would go on to get blasted by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl two weeks later.

The other matchup was a lot closer and pretty much went right down to the wire as a frenzied Empower Field went nuts. Two weeks later, the Broncos beat the Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

So there you have it. The greatest of all-time Tom Brady with all of his championships and Super Bowl appearances could have had even more if it weren't for his struggles at Empower Field. Or Invesco Field as it was known back in the day.

Regardless of how you feel about Tom Brady, you can't argue with the man's accomplishments. And after watching his documentary "Man in the Arena" I have a whole new level of respect for him.

So, say what you want to say about Tom Brady, I truly enjoyed watching him play. Sure he tore my heart out a few times playing against my teams. But one thing was always for certain: I always had mad respect for his game and absolutely loved watching him play.
