Everything is going up in cost. Fast food used to be affordable,  gas prices continue to rise daily, and bills continue to pile up for many across the state. Sadly, everything goes up, yet paychecks continue to stay the same. Because of the cost of going out, more people are eating at home, but from time to time will go out and have dinner and spoil themselves. One popular food chain in Colorado is raising its prices, but is it enough to keep you away, or will you continue to go?

Texas Roadhouse is one of the most popular food chains in America, especially in Colorado. They have a great ambiance, great food options, and the rolls are some of the best around. Typically, you will have to wait when going to Texas Roadhouse on the weekends or around dinner time throughout the week. The prices have been fairly reasonable for years, but the popular food chain recently announced that its prices are going up. Obviously, with the cost of ingredients and everything else rising, the chain needs to make some slight increases, but unlike some other places, they aren't hiding it from customers.

Texas Roadhouse had a great year last year, with revenue being up 3%, but sadly, its overall income was down 30%. The main reason for those was the fact that everything else has gone up. The chain has decided to raise its menu prices by 2% to offset the increases. Also, to help increase revenue in 2026, the store is continuing to increase its use of technology in the kitchen and in restaurants, so they can get food out faster to their customers, and for those ordering online. The chain has also announced they plan to expand and add new locations moving forward, but before you get too excited, the locations are unknown at this time. Currently, Colorado has 15 locations across the state, with one in Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, and Northglenn being the closest ones to Northern Colorado, and even one in Cheyenne as well.
