We are so lucky to live in Colorado. I literally live on the front doorstep of the Rocky Mountains. Whenever we have visitors, we take them to Rocky Mountain National Park. Four of my pictures in this blog are from the park.

My wife and I love to go camping in our popup. Our favorite place to camp is Tunnel Campground on Laramie River Road in the Roosevelt National Forest, but we have also had great camping trips at Flatiron Reservoir, Red Feather Lakes, Hermit Park, and Carter Lake.

I love to ski, but I don't go skiing as much as we used too. Jenny and I would go skiing 5 or 6 times a year when we were first married. Our first date was skiing at Breckenridge. Now we are lucky if we make it to the slopes once a year.

Bottom line is John Denver was right. There is nothing like being Rocky Mountain High.

These photos give you glimpse of why I love the Rocky Mountains so much.
