
Take a Tour of a World War II Bomber at the Greeley-Weld County Airpot
As a part of the Commemorative Air Force's Flying Legends of Victory Tour, a B-25 World War II bomber will be available for tours this week at the Greeley-Weld County airport.
According to the Greeley Tribune, the twin-engine "Maid in the Shade," can be toured for a donation to the educational nonprofit. The 70-year-old plane flew in 15 mission in the Mediterranean Sea during World War II, and over the weekend they will give visitors a chance to fly in the B-25.
The B-25 Mitchell Bomber will be at the Greeley-Weld County Airport, located at 600 Airpot Road in Greeley, from Tuesday, June 14 to Sunday, June 19 (2016), and is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
