The Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Fort Collins Police Services, Loveland Police Department and Berthoud Police Department will be joining the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association tomorrow (Wednesday, May 22), in escorting the traveling Vietnam Wall memorial through Larimer County for display at the Veterans Plaza in Spring Canyon Community Park.
Have you ever wanted something you just couldn't have? For me, it's a CVMA back patch and knowing I will never get one sucks. You get to a point where you get too old and then it's all too late.
I have no more respect than I do for those who served in Vietnam; for many reasons. They are all hero's on my book when you talk to most of the Vietnam Vets, the last thing they think of themselves as are hero's and Army SP4 George Elliott is no different.
Most of you know I am a huge supporter of our Military and all their might. I don't hold one branch as being any better than the other or any war more important than another. Well, I take that back. When it comes to wars, I have the most respect for those who did their time in the Nam.
