The hurt of your team losing isn't as bad if you don't expect them to win. When the Denver Broncos lost the Super Bowl, that hurt. But Colorado has never really had a college basketball powerhouse, so all of the states major teams being done before one day one of the NCAA Tournament is over isn't that big of a surprise.

This Sunday the tradition of the Rocky Mountain Showdown continues at Sports Authority Field at Mile High as the Colorado State Rams and the University of Colorado Buffaloes football teams square-off for their first games of the season and in-state bragging rights.

The CU Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man in an attempted sexual assault. The assault occurred between 11:15 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on April 16th near Broadway and Pleasant Street in Boulder.

You can own the CU Buffs basketball court for as little as $5,000. Even if you are a CSU or UNC fan, you could buy the floor to spit on or stomp on the Buffaloes logo. The University of Colorado is auctioning off its portable, 16-year-old basketball court from the Coors Events Center. There is one catch. You have to haul it off and there are no refunds.
A bear spotted on the University of Colorado Boulder campus on Thursday. Wildlife officials tranquilized the bear after it climbed a tree near the Williams Village dining hall. We have video of the bear falling from the tree. Don't worry! He is O.K.
President Obama was in Boulder yesterday to visit the University of Colorado campus. He spoke to a packed Coors Events Center about student loans. The Trip from the Boulder Municipal Airport to the CU campus was covered by a pool reporter from the Boulder Daily Camera, John Aguilar. The amusing journey included a stop at a Boulder pizza restaurant, where he got yogurt spilled on his pants.

March Madness is in full effect! The CSU Ram's women's basketball team and the University of Colorado women were both selected to play in the Women's National Invitation Tournament. They will play each other in the 1st round on Wednesday. Meanwhile the CSU Rams men's basketball team will get a sendoff today as they travel to Kentucky for the Big Dance.
Not one, but 2 teams from Colorado are in the Big Dance! The CSU Rams were named to the field of 68 yesterday. The CU Buffs got an automatic bid by winning the Pac-12 Tournament over the weekend. Both teams will begin play in the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament on Thursday. Who else is in the tournament? Here is a bracket for you!
Two local teams advanced last night in their conference tournaments. One did not. The CU Buffs men's basketball team advanced the Pac-12 Championship last night and the UNC Lady Bears advanced to Big Sky Championship. The CSU men were bounced from the Mountain West Tournament last night by top-seeded San Diego State.
