The agency says the weather is "looking increasingly warm as the high-pressure system that has been baking the west coast slowly moves east into the Rockies.''

Record high temperatures are likely for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Southeast Wyoming could see golfball size hail.

The main hazards will be 60 mph winds and localized quarter to golf ball size hail.

The agency also says that ''a brief landspout tornado can't be fully ruled out.''

The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.

Snowfall will result in slick roads and reduced visibility that could make travel difficult at times.

Forecasters say at this point they aren't sure exactly what to expect. But they say the situation does bear watching.
