Thanksgiving

It's the time of the year to give thanks so here are a few things I am thankful for. I am thankful to live in the most beautiful place on the planet where the sunrises are a work of art every single day. I am thankful to live in a caring community that supports things like our 28 Hours of Hope.

I cannot wait for the smells of Thanksgiving to fill the air tomorrow. I have been staring at that bird in the fridge for days now telling it what I am going to do to it. I have told it how lovely it will feel to have that butter basted all over it until it's skin is brown as a tanned body on the beach.

Only two more sleep until we feast. Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away and I cannot wait. I want football, family, sweatpants, snow and lots of food. It looks as if all of those will be happening on Thursday. We are expecting a mix of snow and freezing drizzle so it should be a great day to gather inside and eat until you are packed.

With Thanksgiving coming up this week, there will be many televisions around Northern Colorado who will be tuned to the latest round of holiday specials.

Thanksgiving is coming up, and there is so much in life to be thankful for year-round - we often forget about the littlest, simplest luxuries that make life comfortable for most of us. We're all thankful for family, friends, our job, pets, shelter, food, etc...
