Rutting season

Officials from the National Park Service announced that parts of Rocky Mountain National Park will be closed or limited due to elk rutting.

When you're trying to impress the ladies, it doesn't really matter where you are. Some things just have to be settled here and now. That was the case for two bull elk who decided to spar over ladies in the middle of a Colorado playground.

In a world of "don'ts", this would be near the top of the list. A man in Colorado decided it would be a good idea to challenge an elk. His decision was quickly regretted as the elk promptly chased him out of the park.

There are towns with elk and then there are towns with ELK. This is that second one.

If you have a yard, more than likely it consists of grass. A new video shows the moment one family realized that there yard was more or less just elk.

You are hopefully having a good day, but I doubt you're having as good a day as a Yellowstone elk who was recently spotted rubbing his antlers against trees.

If you got it, you got it. One Yellowstone bull elk made sure the ladies knew that he was "the man" when he let out a huge bugle call and one visitor captured it all on video.
