Here in Fort Collins, we are especially pumped to get to watch a talented athlete from Colorado State University compete for the gold, thousands of miles away in Rio.
There are certain sports moments that you just never forget. We will never forget where we were when the Broncos won the Super Bowl, this year of any of the previous ones. I will never forget watching Cal Ripkin break the Iron Man record in baseball. I will never forget watching Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth's home run record or watching the Av's win the cup.
The Summer Games don't occur until 2016, but watching sports on the Altitude Network over the weekend made me think that if Northern Colorado had our own games every two years, what sports would fit the area perfectly?
