Not sure if you're as excited about this as I am but changes are coming to our weather and we're going to feel it in a big way in the next week.

After a summer like weekend, we are going to get a refreshing dose of fall and dare I say winter for some later this week.

We're about to get some of the coolest temperatures that we've had in several months with this fall-like cold front expected to blow through Colorado.

Expect a hazy start to the week.

Fall means cooler temperatures and shorter days.

Smoke is forecast to return to the southeast Wyoming and Nebraska panhandle region by Monday.

Sure it's August, but as any true Coloradan knows, snow can hit at any time in any month...especially in the higher elevations.

Expect the greatest threat for thunderstorms in the 3pm to 7pm timeframe on Friday.

I-70 is closed again through Glenwood Canyon due to massive mudslides.

Portions of Albany, Carbon. and Laramie counties could see heavy rainfall and flash flooding.

Temperatures of 100 degrees are in the forecast for many communities and are not out of the question for Cheyenne.

This feels like something from the future.
