Whether you lived through it or not, it's worth the trip.

A memorial is an object, sculpture, headstone or statue which serves as a memory of someone. Memorial Day is celebrated on the last Monday of May since 1971.

In the midst of the sunshine, grilling, and swimming we can forget the real reason of Memorial Day. These events will give you a sense of patriotism, and help you celebrate the memory of all of our fallen heroes.

A public memorial to celebrate the life of Larimer County Commissioner Lew Gaiter is Saturday, October 20 at Timberline Church on Timberline Road in Fort Collins.

A new memorial will be placed at the post office in Masonville, to honor veterans from the Buckhorn Valley area this weekend. The ceremony is 10 am Saturday.
