The calf had been separated from its mother when the herd crossed the Lamar River. As the calf struggled, the man pushed the calf up from the river and onto the roadway.
Fort Collins 911 first received a call regarding a male who was peeping into a residence window at 1730 Heritage Circle at approximately 8:31 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18.
The police chief stated in an online video that the police department for Fort Collins has faced significant challenges over the past year and a half, and recently dealt with the video of a CSU female student being thrown to the ground.
The incident occurred on Pierce Drive in Wellington after a deputy with the Larimer County Sheriffs Office encountered the residence and detected smoke in the area. The suspect has been charged with first degree arson.
