Honor Flight

Today's story is Leg 9, on my 10,000 mile Honor Flight Northern Colorado Endurance Ride. This was the final push home that went from bad to worse about half way through and the reality that pulling off the 10/10ths would take a miracle.

Today starts the first of what will be a nine day series recapping each day's "leg" of this motorcycle adventure of mine - my 10,000 mile Honor Flight Northern Colorado Endurance Ride. I think each day deserves its own story, so here we go.

On June 4, I set out to fulfill a promise to Honor Flight Northern Colorado to ride 10,000 miles in 10 days to raise money for the veterans they serve.

Charley Barnes is still putting on the miles. He was in Maryland last night and will go around the tip of Maine today and back into Maryland for leg 7 of 9 on his 10,000 miles in 10 days endurance ride for Honor Flight.
