A raucous crowd packed into a sold-out Budweiser Events Center last night to watch  Championship Bull Riding at its best.  The bull were tough on Saturday night. Craig Jackson claimed his second win of the season by being the only one of 15 cowboys in the finals to complete 2 rides last night.

It's tonight. The night we've been waiting for, Championship Bull Riding at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. Tuff Hedeman and the best bull riders in the world are here and ready for the CBR Cinch Championships on the road to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The year was 1993 and Bill Clinton had just taken office when the average price of gas was a $1.05 a gallon, and who could forget “Achy Breaky Heart” being played every 15 minutes for what seemed a lifetime. It’s was also the same year 4 time PRCA Champion Tuff Hedeman put on his first bull riding event called the Tuff Hedeman Championship Challenge.

The fact that cowboys and beer go together so well is really easy to explain... have you ever looked a bull in the face? But why 8 seconds, why not 10 or 5?

When you think bull rider typically you think cowboy with some tight Wranglers, a pearl snap shirt, and a southern draw. Think what you want, but times they are a changin'. Although black bull riders has played an instrumental part in rodeos since the late 1800s with guys like Bill Pickett, Jesse Stahl, and Charles Sampson, it seems the only sport outside of hockey with fewer African-American part

I love watching bull riding. I think it is the most exciting sport in the world to see live. I have had the pleasure of announcing bull riding action for years and have a deep appreciation for the athletes and the animals. It is a true American tradition.

The 2011 Cinch Tour CBR World Champion was crowned on Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland.  Clayton Foltyn was named the World Champ! Meanwhile, Chase Outlaw won the CBR Tour Finale on Saturday.
