A Massive Recall Issued for One of Colorado’s Most Popular Trucks
A recall has been issued on over 380,000 trucks nationwide and this pickup is the second most popular in the state of Colorado. The recall is concerned with the increased risk of crashing and a safety issue.
The recall has been issued for the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Welding debris on the rear axle assembly could cause some retaining nuts on the axle to loosen over time and may fall off. If this occurs, it can affect the braking and vehicle stability of the Toyota Tacoma increasing the risk of a crash.
Toyota made notice of the recall on Tuesday stating that certain Tacoma model pickup trucks from 2022 and 2023 affect around 381,000 vehicles. Customers who own the affected Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks will be notified about the recall via mail by late April 2024.
