We got to do so many amazing things at the 50th Annual ACM Awards in Arlington, Texas. We got to hang out with Kid Rock and met Jeff Cook from Alabama and listened to music with him on his iPod! We were in the audience for the ACM Awards Show on CBS to see live performances from artists like Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Garth. But, my very favorite part of the whole trip was brunch with the artists from Streamsound Records.

Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Austin Webb and Dakota Bradley each sang three songs as we feasted on bacon, omelets, and fried potatoes. Brian and I both got personal time to talk to each of the artists.  Austin and Dakota are good buddies, so it was great to catch up with them.  Kristian is an amazing entertainer and an engaging person to talk to. Brian shared with him how his current single, "Trailer Hitch" has affected the way he lives his life. It actually made Kristian wipe a tear from his cheek and is probably my overall favorite moment of the ACM weekend.

My wife, Jenny, and I took some pictures at the brunch. I hope you enjoy.
