The Northern Colorado Down Syndrome Association was born out of the need to have advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome and their families closer to home.

It should be a great fall day in Northern Colorado for a little walk, to help a lot. The 5th Annual Nothern Colorado Down Syndrome Association (NCDSA) Walk will be held from 10 a.m. until Noon, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Ranch Complex's 'Triangle Green' space.

With the inception of NDSA, individuals with Down Syndrome and their families no longer have to travel to Denver to find the support they need. The organization began with just a couple of parents and now serves hundreds of people in the Northern Colorado area.

NCDSA exists to provide support and connection for individuals with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, awareness, and relationships

NCDSA held a Bike Camp in June of 2021, in the effort to get more people with Down Syndrome to ride two-wheel bicycles, as statistics show that 90% of those with Down syndrome never learn to do so.
